He convoy solidarity mobilized emergency vehicles and essential resources, which made it possible to provide immediate assistance to families in the most affected areas, covering basic needs. The deployment included a fleet of ten vehicles, between trucks, ambulances, vans and a specially equipped disaster unit. The cargo, consisting of more than 20 pallets, included water, non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, clothing and medical supplies.
Point donations to facilitate humanitarian support
To prepare for the convoy, SSG workers have established donation collection points in several locations throughout Spain where the company is present, such as Ronda and Vélez Malagaas well as at its main headquarters in La Mancha. Through social networks, the company encouraged citizens to contribute with basic products, thus obtaining an impressive solidarity response. Once collected, SSG teams organized and secured the supplies for transport.
One of the volunteers, Juan Luis Loma, describes the devastation found in Paiporta: “We arrived at night and started unloading. The scene was desolate: nothing was left, only ruins and people who had lost everything.
An exciting welcome and the hope of moving forward
Despite the impact, SSG volunteers received a warm welcome at each site. “At each stop, people applauded as the ambulances passed,” says Loma. “It’s moving to see how grateful they are and express their pain, talking about how they lost everything. »
