Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the president of the Spanish football club “Barcelona” Juan Laporta.
Oku.Az reports that the meeting highlighted the importance of X. Laporta’s participation in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Baku.
They exchanged views on the development of Azerbaijani football, implemented joint projects with one of the largest football clubs in the world, Barcelona, and discussed other topics of mutual interest.
The president of the Azerbaijan Football Federation, Rovshan Najaf, and businessman Adnan Ahmadzade participated in the meeting.
