“It is a question of strengthening not only proximity but also the management of the necessary aid for all those concerned,” the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agriculture announced on Sunday at a press conference. ‘Supply, Luis Planas, who appeared after the meeting held by the Crisis Committee to monitor the effects of DANA, chaired by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. After the assessments, the restoration of agricultural and livestock operations will begin. with a budget of 170 million euros, which will be used for debris removal, repair of rural roads, restoration of irrigation ditches, water canals, among other tasks.
Furthermore, a ministerial decree will be approved in the next few weeks of 10 million euros for the installations and vehicles of an auxiliary nature to agricultural activity such as tractors and damaged trailers. Planas recalled that the primary sector already has the first tranche of the ICO DANA guarantee line, amounting to 1 billion, to facilitate the financing and coverage of the agri-food industry and storage facilities.
