One of the activities that the city of Granollers (Barcelona) takes place as part of its Grand Festival and which has sparked great controversy, is that of a workshop for Learn how to prepare and throw a Molotov cocktail. In more detail, the activity is entitled “Introduction to the main technical-tactical tools of a subversive strategy”.
“This supposedly academic information language with which they want to legitimize an aberration is shocking,” says journalist Gabi Sanz. But far from joking, he assures that “This is a real aberration. “What sense does it make that the municipality subsidizes this during festivals?”
In other words, “before reading the triptych in which these activities or workshops would be described, which would then lead to didactic videos such as the one of children stoning – until they have the Molotov cocktail in their hand – the figure of a policeman”, he explains.
But even better, the journalist points out, is the argument of some who claim that they have been misinterpreted. “Exactly, what do we misunderstand? We do not misunderstand anything. That is what it is, an aberration according to which the sooner we suspend, the better,” concludes Sanz.
