The National Police arrested a woman of Colombian origin who intervened inside her car different amounts of tusi, cocaine, ecstasy and crystal at a police checkpoint in the conflict-ridden Son Gotleu neighborhood of Palma. The driver was also arrested for an offense against road safety and for having in force a judicial summons concerning his search, detention and imprisonment.
The events occurred last Thursday around 2:15 a.m., when a patrol of the Citizens Assistance Group observed a vehicle traveling at very low speed, without any type of light, with the mirrors folded and making strange movements .
Therefore, the police stopped the police, but the driver did ignore circulating in the streets of Santa Florentina, Gabriel Carbonell and Sant Rafael, where he was finally intercepted.
Officers verified that the driver, a man of Venezuelan origin, weighed arrest warrant and imprisonment by a court in Palma. The police verified that he did not have a driver’s license, going so far as to claim that I didn’t have a license and that he had been in trouble with the law. There were two passengers in the vehicle, a man and a woman, and officers conducted a search of them. The woman had five clear bags containing a narcotic substance and a bag containing jewelry in her pockets.
Officers seized from the woman two bags containing tusi, a bag containing ecstasy, a bag containing crystal and a final bag containing cocaine, as well as the bag containing jewelry.
Finally, the woman was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking offense, taking steps to find out the origin of the jewelry.
