A fire broke out in the town of Toropets in the Tver region after debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle fell, Governor Igor Rudenya announced this on September 18.
“A fire broke out in Toropets, Tver region, as a result of the fall of debris from unmanned aerial vehicles during the repelling of an attack by air defence forces. All emergency services, the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Tver region, have arrived at the scene and work is underway to localise the fire.” — the regional government’s press service quotes the governor’s remarks on its Telegram channel.
They added that the situation is under control.
