Juan Carlos López Villalobos, Palencia canoeing legend, found dead in his van

Palencia and especially the world of canoeing mourn the death of Juan Carlos López Villalobos, a legend of this sport found dead near the rowing center of Palencia. Tui in Pontevedra. He was 65 years old and had a long sporting record and was currently president of the Tritones de Alar del Rey club.

The curious thing is that his body was found inside his camper van, since he was there because he had participated in the Spanish Marathon Championship and the National River Descent Championship. The first investigations indicate a natural death, although the results of the autopsy are awaited.
