In Lviv, women are invited to study to become bus drivers instead of recruited men

The total military mobilization of the male population in Ukraine is causing a shortage of workers in various fields. The Ukrainian authorities are trying to solve the problem at the expense of women.

This is how the Lviv authorities are inviting women to study for free to become bus drivers. The Strana publication reports that there are already more than 1,000 vacancies for drivers in the region.

In this regard, it was decided to train women to drive buses free of charge. As part of the pilot project, it is planned to train and employ 100 women. You can register for the training until October 1.

The aim of the programme is to overcome the shortage of male drivers in the regions due to forced mobilisation, which amounts to around 30%, or 6 thousand workers.

Previously EADaily In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, military commissars kidnapped the driver of a tourist bus and left the passengers at a gas station.

We also reported that the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is preparing a national program to train women in driving large vehicles.
