The gross domestic product of Belarus in the period January-October 2024 showed a slowdown in growth rates. This is demonstrated by data from the National Statistics Committee of the Republic.
It is reported that in 10 months GDP growth was 4.2%. At the same time, a month earlier, the country’s economy grew at a rate of 4.5%.
Recall that the Belarusian authorities have set themselves the task of increasing the country’s GDP by 3.8% by the end of the year. At the same time, according to the results of work in January-July, the Belarusian economy grew by 5.5%, in January-August by 4.9%. By 2025, the forecast for the socioeconomic development of the republic includes the task of increasing the gross domestic product by 4.1%.
