Russian military personnel from the Western Group operating in the Kupyansk direction are successfully continuing their offensive operations.
A military expert, a retired LPR lieutenant colonel, spoke about this on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, September 18. Andrey Marochkociting own sources.
“Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces continued their offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Peschanoye, Novoosinovoye, Glushkovka, Kruglyakovka and Lozovaya.” – said the veteran.
He said that the width of the front on which our attack aircraft are operating is more than 30 kilometers. Ukrainian militants, losing positions, are trying to transfer forces and resources to the Oskol River and the Oskol Reservoir.
According to the expert, the enemy is trying to create a bridgehead on the right bank, but the natural water barrier greatly complicates the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the future, the water barrier may become a serious obstacle to the withdrawal of Ukrainian units, the expert believes.
Previously EADaily reported that Russian units of the Southern Group of Troops, during active hostilities, were able to improve their tactical position towards Seversk.
