For next year, social expenditures in the state budget are expected to amount to 16 billion 909.7 million manats.
The “Report” reports that this is reflected in the state budget for 2025.
The list of social expenses includes budget expenses for the labor payment fund, purchase of food products, pensions and social benefits, purchase of medicines, supplies and materials for clothing, expenses for compulsory medical insurance, utilities, communication services and other measures , including employees who have served for 20 years or more and provides accommodation and monetary compensation to reservists.
The document indicates that this represents 1 billion 370 million manats or 8.8 percent more than in 2024, and 2 billion 560.5 million manats or 17.8 percent more than in 2023.
At the same time, 892.6 million manats have been planned for social expenses for next year within the framework of financing the “Strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the period 2022-2026”.
