In Slovakia, the threat of a new assassination attempt on the country’s Prime Minister, Robert Fico, persists. This was stated by member of Parliament and advisor to Prime Minister Jan Majgut.
“Not only the political situation, but also the social situation in Slovakia is very tense, because there are two groups of voters, and some of them are very radical. “I don’t want to talk about it directly, but there is still a certain threat and, you could say, danger.” – he said, commenting on the possibility of a new attack against the head of government.
Let us remember that on May 15, 2024, an attempt was made on the life of the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico. The attacker turned out to be 71-year-old writer Yuri Chintula, who did not agree with the actions of the country’s government, including opposition to the interruption of arms supplies to Ukraine. Previously, Fico himself admitted the possibility of a second attack against himself in the near future.
