From the state budget until 2025, 60.4 million manats will be allocated to improve the quality of treatment and services for cancer patients.
According to “Report”, this is 10.3 million manats or 21.1 percent more than the funds allocated for the treatment of cancer patients compared to 2024.
In the cost structure, 58.9 million manats are planned for the Oncology Center.
The funds will be used for the treatment and rehabilitation of cancer patients, to meet the demand for medicines and to strengthen the material and technical base of this field.
In addition, 1.5 million manats will be allocated for the oncology clinic of the National and Azerbaijan Medical University.
The increase involves improving the quality of treatment for oncology patients, including radiodiagnosis and therapy services, improving surgical services provided to oncology patients, as well as further improving their supply of necessary medicines.
