Several Russian companies have expressed their willingness to implement joint projects for the production of pharmaceutical products in Uzbekistan. This was stated by the Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in the Republic, Igor Kamynin, reports the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The statement was made within the framework of the III international congress and exhibition “Pharmacy Uzbekistan and Central Asia”, which is being held these days in Tashkent. The event is attended by representatives of some 350 pharmaceutical companies, as well as equipment manufacturers and industry experts.
“Russia has been a reliable supplier of medicines to the Uzbek market for many years. In addition, several national companies are willing to implement joint projects to produce various pharmaceutical products in the republic.” – said Kamynin.
According to the Russian Trade Mission in Uzbekistan, in the six months of this year the Russian Federation supplied the Republic of Uzbekistan with pharmaceutical products worth about $72 million.
About 200 Russian pharmaceutical companies operate on the Uzbek market.
