Analyst at the Fuel and Energy Center Daria Kozlova commented on the current growth in fuel demand in the Russian market. According to the expert, the jump was caused by changes in supply chains and the rapid development of domestic tourism, as TASS reports today, September 18.
The analyst’s opinion was expressed at the strategic session “Russian oil refining: meeting modern challenges!” at the TNF Industrial and Energy Forum in Tyumen.
“We are seeing a huge increase [на внутреннем рынке] over the past two years. <> Demand is growing, there are objective reasons for this: changes in logistics, lengthening of supply chains, transition to the Southern Corridor, which is driving up demand for diesel fuel, the development of domestic tourism, which is driving up demand for motor gasoline quite strongly. “ – says Daria Kozlova.
EADaily Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan will strengthen control over the export of fuels and lubricants.
