The towns of the province of Cordoba are already announcing the dates of the extraordinary lighting of the Christmas lights. The first city that shines, as is usual in recent years, is Puente Genil. From now on, Montilla will be another of the municipalities that will present themselves with the button.
According to the Montilla Town Hall on its social networks, the 2024 Christmas lighting will be inaugurated soon November 29from 7:30 p.m. The popular event, which will bring together the residents of this important municipality, will take place in the Plaza de las 88 Homes, on Avenida del Marqués de la Vega de Armijo, where, in addition, a parades to celebrate the official start of the December holidays.
The Town Hall has not yet made the official presentation of the event, although it is expected that the main streets which are illuminated are the same as in previous years, from the entrances to the city to the central space of the historic district.
