In fact, the rumour was that Marko could arrive hand in hand with Verstappen and have a company car… but the Austrian is not letting himself be guided by that.
“I have to admit that The Aston Martin was a fun car (he had it years ago), but that’s not the deciding factor for me,” he said.
“Any sensible team leader should be interested in Max and still wants to sit in the car in which he can become champion of the world,” he concluded.
Although it seems that Aston Martin’s prospects are becoming increasingly difficult, Mercedes tend to win big.
