Isaac Herzog addressed the Ukrainians on the thousandth day of the war: You are not alone!

Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed the Ukrainian people on the thousandth day of the war. A video message posted by Israel’s ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Brodsky, conveyed words of support and solidarity with Ukraine.

Isaac Herzog noted that Israel, as a country that has experienced many conflicts, understands well the pain and losses associated with war. He assured that the Israeli people empathize with Ukraine and share the pain of the numerous victims and destruction.

The President also emphasized that Israel constantly supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and continues to provide it with the necessary assistance.

He expressed hope that a diplomatic solution would be quickly achieved that could put an end to the bloodshed and suffering.

Previously, Kursor wrote that Ukraine’s ambassador to Israel, Yevgeny Korniychuk, supported the initiative to transfer Russian-made weapons seized by the IDF to Ukraine.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk supported the initiative of Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel, who proposed transferring to Ukraine Russian-made weapons captured by the Israeli army during operations in Gaza, Lebanon and Judea and Samaria. He expressed his hope that the Israeli leadership would accept this proposal.

Korniychuk emphasized that this initiative may indicate Israel’s willingness to recognize the existence of common threats facing both countries. According to him, the fact that Russian-made weapons are at the disposal of terrorist organizations confirms Russia’s support for forces such as Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas, which seek to harm both Israeli citizens and the military.

The ambassador added that Ukraine and Israel have a common enemy and their cooperation in this direction could be an important step towards strengthening the security of both countries. At the same time, Korniychuk expressed hope that the Israeli authorities will decide to transfer the seized weapons.
