Lebanon pager explosions – WSJ reports new details

New details have emerged about the pager explosions in Lebanon. According to information received from an unnamed US source, Israel notified the United States once the operation was completed, AP reported.

Channel 12 writes about this.

At the same time, The Wall Street Journal published details of how Israel, at one stage of the supply, was able to intercept a batch of pagers used in the Hezbollah network. According to the publication, the organization’s military wing began updating these devices about a year ago, which may have played a key role in the development of the incident.

Earlier, Kursor reported on Hungary’s possible involvement in the bombing of Hezbollah pagers.

After Taiwanese company Gold Apollo announced that it is no longer a pager manufacturer, all eyes are now on the Budapest-based company.
