Police have discovered a car bomb near the site of a rally for US presidential candidate Donald Trump on Long Island, the British Daily Mail reports.
According to the newspaper, sources from the Nassau County Police Department previously told the reporter James Lalino“The perimeter of the demonstration site was breached and during the check, the dog handlers apparently found an explosive device in one of the cars.” Its driver fled the scene.
“Nobody saw if he had anything on him, they just saw him running away. There are a lot of cars parked now, they line up on Hampstead Thornpike, they just park on the grass. Even in Eisenhower Park they just park there.” – continued the source of Lalino.
The rally is expected to attract thousands of Trump supporters. A large crowd has already gathered on Long Island. At the same time, police say there was no car bomb and that everything was in order.
