King Felipe VI informed the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebeleo de Sousa, that Spain is available to strengthen its assistance in the fight against fire wave which devastates the Portuguese country.
Rebelo de Sousa received a call from Felipe VI on Tuesday in which he informed him of his “total solidarity” and that of the Spanish people against the “tragedy” fires affecting Portugal, the Portuguese presidency reported on Tuesday in a note published on its official website.
During the call, the king expressed “his availability to strengthen air support and others of the Spanish State.”
