Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his countrymen for the first time since the incidents involving the explosion of communication devices in Lebanon, promising to restore security in the north of the country.

“I have already said that we will return the residents of the north safely to their homes. We will do that,” Netanyahu said in a 10-second speech released by the prime minister’s office.
