The PSOE and Junts plan to hold a meeting outside Spain with Puigdemont in attendance in the coming weeks

Not everything is broken in the relationship between PSOE and Juntas. As LaSexta has learned, both groups have planned maintain direct contact in the coming weeks during which Carles Puigdemont will be there. We would therefore be faced with conversations outside Spain in which, on the part of the PSOE, it would be Santos Cerdannumber three in training.

This news comes amidst threats and last-minute twists and turns from the Catalan team. This Wednesday, MP Josep Maria Crusset once again recalled the “magical” number of seven votes they have in Congress: “If they don’t comply, they don’t get what they need.“Either they respect the agreements or they fail in Parliament.”

All this, just 24 hours later Junts will deal a blow to the governmentspecifically on the side of Sumar, and more specifically of Íñigo Errejón, who was filmed by the cameras talking with the party three minutes before voting and knowing, with a serious face, that they had changed the direction of their vote, going from abstention to ‘no’ to his bill aimed at regulating seasonal rentals and room rentals.

Although the Executive is trying to sell stability and serenity under the mantra that there is a “long-term government”, as Pedro Sánchez has defended, this new “no” once again shows the parliamentary fragility of the government, with an axis formed by PP, Vox and Junts This could ruin the Executive.

On Tuesday, at 11:00, the Government obtained the votes in favour of the PNV and the Canarian Coalition, as well as the abstention of the Junts, so it was expected that its bill would be taken into consideration. Shortly after, Nogueras insisted that this would be the meaning of his vote, with the members of Sumar assuring that They had “half a vote left”.

However, the vote was so close that required the presence of Pedro Sánchez. That’s when the call is made and Errejón announces the news to Yolanda Díaz. Already in the room, it seems that everyone is starting to announce the news. Errejón makes a fuss and does not stop typing on his cell phone, but time is up. Meanwhile, PP and Vox applauded what the people of Puigdemont have done, which contrasts with the disappointment of the government partners.
