The emergency contract awarded hand to hand to the company in which the current chief of staff of the President of the Generalitat Valenciana worked is not the only one that the company has obtained from an institution chaired by Carlos Mazón. It was precisely Mazón who, from the presidency of the Provincial Council of Alicante, opened the doors of the province to the company STV Gestión SL, domiciled in Murcia.

This is what it did in 2021, with an allocation of 413,223 euros to a Temporary Business Union formed by STV Gestión SL and Foresma SA. José Manuel Cuenca, current chief of staff of Mazón and regional secretary of the Presidency, was responsible for the communication and institutional relations department of STV Gestión SL between November 2017 and January 2023. He then briefly joined the PP parliamentary group as advisor in the Corts Valencianes and, after Mazón’s victory in the 2023 regional elections and the initial agreement with Vox, Cuenca was appointed regional secretary of the President’s Office and Communication. He is one of the three strong men in Mazón’s “politburo” at the Palau de la Generalitat.
