Last July, the European Commission published the latest report on the rule of law, which takes the temperature of the democratic health of the Twenty-Seven.
SO, Brussels reprimanded the Spanish government for not respecting one of its priority recommendations guarantee the proper functioning of justice: strengthen the independence of the state attorney general, which means that its mandate does not coincide with that of the Government.
