US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has claimed that Iran committed “real interference” in the US election by sending the Democratic Party internal documents stolen from its campaign headquarters.
“Iran transmitted this data to the headquarters (José) Biden“I can’t believe it. I can’t believe it though. This is an example of real foreign interference in our elections, not the fake Russia-related nonsense that’s been thrown at me for years.” – Trump said, speaking to supporters in New York State.
Earlier, US intelligence agencies released a joint statement alleging that in the summer, Iranian hackers stole internal documents from the Trump campaign and sent them to media outlets as well as people associated with current US President Joe Biden.
