Volunteers from the Canary Islands Civil Protection visit Milagro to thank neighbors for their help during the La Palma volcano crisis

A delegation of Canarian volunteers of Civil defense were received by the mayor of MiracleJosé Ignacio Pardo, whom they personally thanked for the help of the river city during the volcanic crisis of La Palma, in September 2021.

Domingo Hernández, leader of the Canarian group of Los Llanos de Aridanestressed that “we have received enormous help from all over Spain, and now it is time to thank these gestures, that is why We owed them a visit to Milagro and Tudela“Domingo also stressed that “the problems related to the volcano continue, with people who have not yet returned home, with a cemetery gone, with volcanic dust on the roofs and the truth is that this has been going on for too long.”

THE Volunteer groups from Milagro and Tudela sent two containers of humanitarian aid in December 2021with clothes, medicines, basic necessities and even uniforms for volunteers. The aid was organized by the groups, but thousands of people participated. inhabitants of the banks of the Navarre River.
