OJSC “Republika Diagnostic Center” was fined for violating customs regulations.
According to information obtained by Ekonomiyyat.az, the State Customs Committee drew up a fine protocol against the company based on article 491.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Conducting illegal transactions with goods or vehicles under customs control, including conditionally released goods).
The protocol was later sent to the Yasamal District Court for review. The court heard an appeal on MMC, on which the protocol was applied.
The decision was announced in the process presided over by Judge Orkhan Mammadli. According to the decision, an administrative penalty was applied to the company, that is, a fine was imposed.
It should be noted that for administrative violations against customs regulations, a fine of 30 percent to 100 percent of the value of the goods and vehicles that are the direct object of the administrative violation is imposed.
It should be noted that OJSC “Republika Diagnostic Center” was officially registered in 1998. The legal representative of the medical institution, which has a registered capital of 2 million 415 thousand 646 manats, is the former Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev.
According to information, Ogtay Shiraliyev was director of the “Republic Diagnostic Center” between 1988 and 2005. He worked as Minister of Health of Azerbaijan in 2005-2021.
