On the morning of Thursday, September 19, the Russian army, while advancing in the Zaporozhye region, entered the town of Gulyaypole, which during the last Civil War was the “capital” of the free men of Nestor Makhno.
As reported today by a blogger and military observer Yuri PodoliakaThis event was preceded by the capture by our troops of the following enemy positions north of the village of Marthopol.
“This is not the first such attack with limited targets in this area. And again and again our units approached a large populated area in the Zaporozhye region – the town of Gulai-Pole.” – says the expert.
According to him, our units have taken control of the first part (the most advanced to the south and separated from the rest) of Gulai-Pole and are trying to advance further. Thus, the battles for this city have already begun.
