The National Police of Telde arrested a man, with numerous criminal records, as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of attempted murder. homicide after stabbing an acquaintance in the chest several times, including once near the heart.
In the early hours of November 4, a call was received at the 091 telephone number of a health center in the Polígono de Jinámar, Telde (Gran Canaria), informing them that they had a man with multiple stab wounds to the chest and that he was going to be rushed to a hospital in the capital of Gran Canaria.
The police went to the health center to gather more information, then went to the hospital where the victim was admitted.
Statements from several witnesses and the victim herself indicated to officers that the attacker is known to the victim. Both were in an establishment in the Jinámar neighborhood with other friends, they had a discussion which ended with the victim moving to a friend’s home. A few minutes later, the victim received a call from the attacker to go to the public highway, where a fight began between the two.
