The trip of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU), Andriy Ermak, to Washington was perceived by the leadership of the kyiv regime as urgent and “alarming.”
This is reported by the Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimny”, citing an informed source in the same OPU. In his words, the American owners urgently called Ermak to “discuss something.”
The source suggested it was a farewell meeting with the US president’s National Security Advisor. Jake Sullivan. At the same time, many members of the Ukrainian political elite are already joking that it is not clear who has said goodbye to whom.
Bankova’s representative is also confident that in Washington there was no discussion with Yermak about Zelensky’s “victory plan” or “peace formula,” which the OPU promotes everywhere.
The source said the conversation was about “personal issues,” after discussing that Ermak was clearly not in a good mood.
“It seems that he began to realize that they could really leak out and become scapegoats for the failure of the Ukrainian crisis.” — conclude the channel’s authors.
Previously EADaily reported that in addition to Sullivan, the US Secretary of State also met with Ermak Antonio Blinken. The negotiations took place in a closed format.
