The Andalusian Government concludes the recovery phase due to the second advanced level atmospheric depression (DANA) with the conclusion of the cleaning works and begins to develop the new lines of measures and aid that will be implemented for those affected.

Thus, the Andalusian government has authorized a line of guarantees for SMEs and self-employed workers affected by DANA with an allocation of eight million euros which will make it possible to carry out up to 1,200 operations for a total amount of 150 million euros. . The objective of this measure is to facilitate the coverage of cash flow problems that the companies concerned may encounter.

Secondly, the Andalusian Government is working on a decree that modifies the current regulations of the tax on real estate transfers to facilitate a total exemption from this tax (which represents approximately 4% of the operation) for purchases of used vehicles by a part of the people who prove that their means of transport have been affected by DANA.

Added to this is an additional investment of 3.6 million euros for the implementation of two emergency projects on regional roads damaged by DANA and which require emergency investments. They are in addition to the 11 million euros from the first DANA and the 7 million from the Nelson storm.

At the same time, the Andalusian Government, which brings the number of municipalities concerned to 445 in the two DANAs, is studying the incorporation of new calls for help to town halls, while waiting for the one proposed for the first DANA to be completed with a low level of response municipal. , according to the Andalusian Government’s own admission,

“We have exhausted the contingency fund, so we are proposing budgetary changes and seeking European funds to obtain the necessary resources. But in any case, the necessary measures will be implemented,” said Treasury Minister and spokesperson Carolina España.

For his part, the Minister of the Presidency, Antonio Sanz, stressed that the cleaning work is being completed and that the incidents recorded during the two DANAs have already been compiled. In total, 3,000 emergencies, including 1,400 in the second DANA.
