Operations in Lebanon: UNICEF employee suspected of working for Israel

In the morning, Lebanese television channel MTV reported that Lebanese security forces, together with Hezbollah, detained a man on suspicion of spying for Israel.

This was reported by the Alexey Zheleznov Telegram channel.

The incident took place in the south of the country and the detainee is believed to be an employee of the UN agency UNICEF. However, shortly after its publication, this news was removed from the channel’s website, raising many doubts.

Despite initial reports, sources close to Hezbollah have denied the report, denying the arrest itself or any connection to the alleged spying. The reasons for removing the story remain unclear.

Earlier, Kursor reported whether Ukraine could repeat such an operation against the Russian Armed Forces.

The expert noted that Ukrainian intelligence is still inferior to Mossad, but has potential for development.
