The National Innovations and Inventions Exhibition was inaugurated in the capital of Afghanistan, bringing together talented and technically gifted young people from all over the country. TOLOnews reports on this today, November 19.
Hasibullah, who in six months, together with a group of young people, assembled a van with a rocket launcher from scrap materials, told TOLOnews:
“When Israel attacked sister Palestine, that motivated us. “We told ourselves we could create something and support the people of Palestine.”
Zia-ul-HaqAnother participant in Farah’s project told TOLOnews:
“I am proud to have built a facility that, Allah willing, can help protect our homeland in the future.”
The exhibition participants do not hide their joy at the opportunity to show their creations. Naqibullah, another participant said:
“With our device we can provide drinking water to laboratories and medical centers, and we conceived it during the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Organizers said the exhibition aims to promote the projects of young inventors and called on national and international partners to support them.
Syed Mohsen Sadat, Head of Research and Innovation at the Directorate of Technical and Vocational Education, said:
“So far we have recorded over 2,000 visitors and we hope to see many more in the coming days. We hope to achieve excellent results at the end of this exhibition.”
The exhibition, which will last four days, has 318 projects from 21 provinces, presented in 80 stands. The inventions concern various technical devices, robotics and agricultural tools.
