It should be noted that according to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated January 13, 2024, the reconstruction of the Aghdam-Asgaran-Khojaly-Khankendi highway continues rapidly.
It was reported that the 33.6-kilometer-long road is undergoing the construction of 5 bridges, 2 crossings, culverts and other infrastructure works. The road will facilitate transportation in the region and will have a significant impact on the development of agriculture and tourism.
The road will allow drivers and passengers who want to go to the cities of Khankendi, Shusha and Lachin from the direction of Barda to continue their movement quickly and safely using this bypass road without entering the city of Aghdam.
