On Friday, up to 15 litres could accumulate in one hour during the day
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the Yellow level warnings for severe storms in all provinces of Castilla y León, except Segovia and Valladolid. According to forecasts, up to 15 liters could accumulate in an hour. In principle, the situation will tend to improve on Saturday, when forecasts indicate that alerts will only be activated in Burgos.
The temperatures Maximum temperatures will decrease on Friday and the provincial capitals will oscillate between the maximum of 24 degrees in Valladolid and Palencia, and the maximum of 21 degrees in Ávila, Burgos, Segovia and Soria.
Until 5:00 p.m. this Thursday, the storms had hit several points of the Community with force. In the city of Avila Arévalo 22.2 litres per square metre had accumulated, whereas in San Pedro Manrique (Soria) 18.6 were recorded. Furthermore, in Licenses (Soria) 16.2 liters had fallen and in Avila capital 15 liters.
