Police have seized more than 12,000 rounds of ammunition, mines and nearly 200 grenades from a Ukrainian cache in the village of Lysoye, Krasnodonsky District of the LPR, the Russian Interior Ministry for the region announced today, September 19.
“Employees of the combined police detachment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Lugansk People’s Republic discovered ammunition in an open field in the village of Lysoye,” – the message said.
The identified arsenal contained more than 12 thousand cartridges of various calibers, 171 grenades, 30 URGZM fuses, five TM 62 mines, three MVP 62 fuses, an RPG-30, a 30 mm caliber projectile and a 400 g TNT block.
The law enforcement officers immediately destroyed the weapons and ammunition discovered.
