The mayor of Pozoblanco, Santiago Cabello, presented today, together with his government team, the extensive program of activities designed for the Our Lady of Mercedes Fair 2024.
The councilor explained that in total “they were designed for this very special celebration for all the inhabitants of Pozoalbo and for the thousands of people who visit us every year more than 60 activitieswhich include concerts, horse riding, theatre, bullfighting shows, exhibitions and a wide variety of proposals designed to please all our neighbours and be an attraction for people who come to Pozoblanco on these dates.
The highlight of this fair will be the musical performances from the famous Camela and King Africa They will set the tone for this edition of the fair. They will also be accompanied by the groups Raya Real, Planeta 80 or Long Play, great figures from the bullfighting world such as Enrique Ponce, Alejandro Talavante or David Galván and even the legendary theater actor Rafael Álvarez “El Brujo”.
Tribute to Francisco Rivera ‘Paquirri’
The Councilor of Tourism and Festivities, Lola García, presented the extensive calendar of events, a program where the emphasis will be on the memory of the bullfighter.
