The Donetsk People’s Republic will receive almost two billion additional rubles this year from the federal center for the restoration of regional roads.
The head of the DPR stated this Denis Pushilincommenting on the results of the 18th International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia”, on the sidelines of which an agreement was reached on additional financing.
It should be noted that, first of all, we are talking about roads for the transportation of residents of the Mangush, Telmanovsky, Volodarsky, Volnovakha and Makeyevka municipal districts.
The governor said that the Donetsk People’s Republic is represented at the forum by an exhibition with the symbolic name “Donbass, the heart of Russia.” According to him, most of the road works for 2024 have already been completed in full and ahead of schedule.
In addition, the head of the region discussed with the leaders of Rosmorrechflot the plans for the development of the Mariupol sea port, as well as the prospects of launching a passenger ferry service.
“We have identified a series of activities that will contribute to the development of our seaport. For example, the possibility of restoring special equipment: a land-cleaning projectile to clean the waters of the port.” – Pushilin concluded.
