In the Luhansk People’s Republic, 72 fires were extinguished in the past 24 hours, while no incidents were reported on water bodies.
This was announced by the press service of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LPR on Friday, September 20. They noted that firefighters selflessly take risks and save lives.
“Residents have come out and are helping the heroes. Some prepared a hot lunch, others brought drinking water. We extend words of support and gratitude to first responders everywhere.” – the statement says.
It should also be noted that over the past 24 hours, engineering and sapper units of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in the LPR processed 4 applications, examined 4.24 hectares and identified 14 possible fires.
