The PP calls Teresa Ribera a “minister on the run” for not going to Valencia in “21 Days” and she responds: “I’m not going to take photos”

High tension session this Wednesday at the Congress of Deputies. Vice President Teresa Ribera returned to the Lower House for the first time since DANA on October 29 and the opposition accused her of being “a minister on the run, a minister on the run”, during the session of government control.

“21 days have passed since the Valencia flood and you are the main person responsible for hydrological issues in our country. Did you really not have time, in 21 days, to set foot in Valencia? Really not? I don’t know what it’s like to be able to sleep peacefully at night,” said PP spokesperson in Congress Miguel Tellado.

Ribera, under pressure from the PP, ended up saying that “of course” he will go to Valencia, but he assured that “there have been more than 130 explanations and actions from the ministry to tell what happened” . “I’m not going to take photos, but to work,” Ribera defended himself against accusations of not having gone to the scene of the incident.
