Oku.Az reports that this was stated by the chief of staff of the State Tourism Agency, Kanan Gasimov, at the “First Meeting of Ministers on improving climate action in the tourism sector” on Tourism Day within the framework of COP29.
“The Baku Declaration has an important role in reducing emissions and increasing tolerance. This is a great success at COP29. We are trying to involve climate issues in the tourism sector. People will witness this when they come to see our rich culture and heritage.”
