“Granada” contributes to the creation of a safe digital environment for children

“Nar”, distinguished for its social responsibility initiatives in the regions, has launched a new project dedicated to November 20, World Children’s Rights Day, together with the Public Union for Regional Development (RIIB). Within the framework of the project, various awareness-raising activities will be carried out for one month in Nakhchivan, Baku, Ganja, Lankaran and Gabala to ensure the safety of children in the digital environment.

At the initial stage, an online meeting on “Protecting children from harmful and dangerous information” was held. Students and teachers of grades VII-XI from 10 schools in Nakhchivan, Baku, Ganja, Lankaran and Gabala participated in this event. During the meeting, state officials and specialists provided detailed information about the rules for the correct and safe use of digital resources and answered questions from the participants.

It should be noted that the project is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Education, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Association of Cyber ​​Security Organizations of Azerbaijan and ADA University.

With this initiative, as part of its sustainable support for science and education, “Nar” makes an important contribution to the work of protecting children’s rights and teaching safe behavior in the digital environment.
