The investigators who carried out Operation “Terran”, during their investigations over the last nine months, managed to verify that “presumably, all the actors involved acted knowing the age of the minor”, whose physical constitution leaves no doubt about his biological ageDespite this, they did not hesitate to manipulate her “to receive and send self-produced pornographic material” and even to establish contact “to sexually assault her”.
In a press release, police said five of the detainees were believed to have held “sexual encounters” with the victim, both in Valdepeñas and in the province of Toledo. The other six are accused of alleged crimes of corruption of minors, either for “seeking to meet the minor for sexual purposes” or for “obtaining pornographic material from the young girl” via an adult dating application and, later, different social networks.
Anonymity
This application, explained the National Police, has more than 10 million users and a distribution of up to 40 languages, “allowing the direct contact between its users with lax identity or age verification” and “almost total anonymity”. Although the minor managed to have an account on said platform, it was later canceled.
The seriousness of the events forced the agents to use complex technical means to “analyze the countless fictitious data that have been used by suspected sex offenders” to hide their traces and their true identity. » Indeed, the detainees “had different user accounts, several telephone numbers, nicknames and profiles, thus hiding their true identity.
The arrests took place in the provinces of Ciudad Real, Guadalajara, Toledo, Madrid, Tarragona and Málaga.authorizing the detention of “several adults classified as highly dangerous to the sexual freedom of minors”. One of them has even already been in prison for similar crimes.
