An 84-year-old woman ran over her daughter while accidentally starting the car they were travelling in, which then led to crashed into a trash cananother car and a municipal bus in Santander.
The incident occurred around 10:50 a.m., when an automatic car stopped at the curb and its driver, a 54-year-old woman, got out of the car and headed towards the pedestrian zone.
At that point, the driver’s 84-year-old mother tried to overtake the co-pilot position to driver without leaving the vehicle to take charge of the car.
In this movement, the woman unintentionally put the tourism in progress and crushed his daughterwho was passing in front of the car at that moment.
The vehicle continued to move forward and collided with a trash can then against a car and a municipal bus stopped at a red light.
As a result of the accident, the mother and daughter were injured and were treated by two ambulances that transported them to the Marqués de Valdecilla hospital to be treated for their injuries.
