Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has withdrawn the lawsuit he filed against the head of the opposition IYI party, Meral Akşener.
Oku.Az Huseyn Aydın, lawyer for the President of Türkiye, made a statement in this regard, citing Turkish media.
“Complaints submitted to the investigation about insults to the president were dismissed, and four civil claims regarding the payment of moral damages were also rejected,” RT Erdogan’s lawyer said.
It should be noted that Akşener made offensive statements while criticizing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s foreign policy at the Turkish Grand National Assembly group meeting.
