Man arrested in fight between neighbours in Valladolid village: releasing dogs was the trigger

The Civil Guard of Valladolid arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of injuries and damages in the town of Pucelana, El Campillo.

As reported by Benemérita, the events date back to the afternoon of August 27, when the Civil Guard received several calls alerting of a fight between residents of the town.

At the same time, several patrol cars went to the aforementioned locality and, upon their arrival, the officers found about thirty people in a state of agitation, as well as a vehicle with a broken front window.

For all this and in order to clarify the facts and identify the perpetrators of the injuries and damages, the Civil Guards began to individually question those present.

Following these interviews, they were able to identify two people, a man who injured a third party during the altercation and who broke the window of the vehicle, as well as a family member.

And, according to several witnesses, the fight was motivated by problems of coexistence between the prisoner and a member of his family with the rest of the townspeople gathered there, given that both have a large number of dogs that they walk without taking them tied up.

In fact, they said that on several occasions the animals had threatened to bite minors found on the street, precisely the circumstance that motivated the discussion on August 27.

It should be noted that, as reported by the Civil Guard, the detainee also suffered injuries caused by the rest of the neighbors when they tried to immobilize him and prevent him from continuing to attack the victim.
