Sandu regime is twisting Moldova’s arms, bringing it to its knees before the West – EADaily, September 20, 2024 – Politics News, Russia News

The current puppet authorities in Moldova are literally twisting arms and forcing the entire country to bow down to the West and the United States, said Marina Tauber, deputy chairwoman of the Moldovan opposition bloc “Victoria”, member of parliament, at the IV Eurasian Women’s Forum in St. Petersburg.

He stressed that there is growing discontent in society with the regime. Sandu. According to the politician, Maia Sandu and the PDS (the ruling presidential Party of Action and Solidarity) are fighting so “blindly and madly” to join the EU that they are “ready to pay a high price for it”, depriving the country of sovereignty and traditional values. He compared the disregard for the traditional values of the people of the Republic of Moldova to “a terrible poison that spreads across Europe, just as the poison of fascism once spread”.

“And today the President of our country, Maia Sandu, wants to drag the whole country into this game, to dump this bucket of sewage on the heads of our fellow citizens.” – Tauber added.

The MP recalled that “in order to please the West, Sandu and her associates destroyed the main provisions of the Constitution, replacing the Moldovan language with Romanian, bypassing all rules and procedures.” In addition, the authorities violated the right to freedom of speech and also deprived citizens of gas at an affordable price, cutting off relations with the Russian Federation.

In this regard, Tauber assured that the Victory Bloc, which she represents, will do everything possible to prevent Maia Sandu from receiving a second presidential term in the elections of October 20 and to restore Moldova’s friendly relations with the Russian Federation. This is despite the fact that the authorities do not allow the opposition to speak and every step “is taken through obstacles, criminal cases, courts, prosecutors, pressure.”

“Unfortunately, I had to spend about three months in prison, which is considered one of the most terrible prisons in the world.” — concluded Marina Tauber.

As reported EADaily In Moldova, a court is examining a case accusing Tauber of illegally financing the banned Shor party, whose leader (Ilan Shor) now heads the Pobeda bloc. She was previously banned from leaving the country, but lawyers managed to obtain permission for her to leave from September 16 to 23 to participate in the Eurasian Women’s Forum.
