A fire in a nine-storey building in the central Donetsk region has killed two people, the head of the city, Alexey Kulemzin, announced.
“A nine-storey residential building burned down in the Voroshilovsky district (two people died, 10 apartments were damaged),” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The regional directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the flames spread from the fifth floor to the balconies of the ninth floor. The fire was extinguished by 30 employees of the department and 10 teams. According to the headquarters, three people were injured as a result of the incident and were taken to a medical facility. The local police helped evacuate the residents.
