The events occurred on the night of February 9 in Barbate, when the Civil Guards of Algeciras Miguel Ángel and David had to go to the sea with other colleagues on the orders of the Colonel of the Command of Cadiz to expel several narcolanchas that they were taking refuge from a storm in the port of Barbate.
